Dr. Shih earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan (2008) and completed her residency training at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (2011). She is also the recipient of the annual U-M Department of Family Medicine Senior Scholarship Award (2008). She received honors on her fourth year medical school research elective on attitudes toward the human papillomavirus vaccine and the Dean’s commendation for Excellence in Clinical Skills and the Art of Medicine.
