Dr. Chadd is the Medical Director of the Adult Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit on 6A within the University Hospital. His inpatient clinical responsibilities include the spinal cord injury rehabilitation service and the neurological disorders rehabilitation consult service. His outpatient clinical responsibilities include spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, wheelchair seating, and a multi-disciplinary amyotrophic lateral sclerosis clinic.
Dr. Chadd devotes additional time and energy to education: spinal cord injury didactics series for Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residents, musculoskeletal sequence didactics for first year medical students, and musculoskeletal physical examination small group teaching to second and third year medical students. Dr. Chadd’s research areas have included medical student education and attitudes toward disability, as well as industry-sponsored pharmaceutical clinical trials for multiple sclerosis.
