Dr. Kaufman earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School (2002) where she also completed her residency (2005). Prior to studying medicine, she worked as a HIV test counselor and medical assistant at a women's clinic and continues to have strong interest in women's health. She enjoys walking almost every day in the woods with her husband and her dog, Henry.
