Research Overview
I designed 3 studies, including 2 clinical trials, that helped change the CDC recommendations to encourage giving influenza vaccine (grown on chick embryos) to people with egg allergy. I initiated our participation in food allergy immunotherapy multi-center clinical trials. I am researching, with others within the division psychosocial issues in food allergy, multiple food intolerance in infancy, factors in determining pass/fail of food challenges.
