Dr. Dengiz received his medical degree, residency training and was chief resident at the University of Michigan Medical School. He was the medical director of Geriatric Medicine at St. Joseph Mercy Health System, Ann Arbor, from 1984 to 2010 and developed a comprehensive geriatrics center. Currently, Dr. Dengiz is the medical director for Glacier Hills Retirement Community.  He is board-certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine. His clinical interests include Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, geriatric syndromes, osteoporosis and end-of-life care. In addition, his research interests include Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias and medical education.
