Emily Cummings, M.D., received her undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and went on to earn her medical degree from New York Medical College. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan where she was a chief resident and received the James Langeveld M.D. Teaching Award for the resident teacher of the year. She studied with University of Michigan vascular surgeon, Dr. John R. Pfeifer, during her final year of residency which contributed to her interest in the treatment of venous disease. She is a board certified physician currently specializing in Venous Disease and is a member of the American College of Phlebology.
