Biography
Senait Fisseha, MD, JD, Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, received her combined medical and law degrees from Southern Illinois University in 1999. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in 2003 and her subspecialty fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility in 2006. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her areas of specialty cover all aspects of infertility including: Polycystic ovary syndrome, recurrent pregnancy loss, and other endocrine disorders resulting in infertility; assisted reproductive technologies such as IVF/ICSI, Gamete and embryo cryopreservation; minimally invasive surgery including robotics, laparoscopy and endoscopic surgeries for the management of conditions such as uterine fibroids; research interests include polycystic ovary syndrome and reproductive law and ethics. She is a board candidate for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
