The Evan Newport HOPE and JOY Awards

The Evan Newport HOPE Awards were established to formally recognize the ongoing patient and family centered care practices and initiatives that are happening each day within Michigan Medicine. Read more about Evan Newport and the founding of the HOPE Awards

Anyone can nominate a staff member, team, or volunteer who has demonstrated ongoing commitment to the philosophy of Patient & Family Centered Care practices to win the HOPE Award. The Evan Newport HOPE Award winners are selected annually by PFCC Program committees.

2017 HOPE Award

Nominations for the 2017 Evan Newport HOPE Award are open now through October 2017. The nominations will be reviewed in October and November, and an award will be presented at a ceremony in December 2017. 2017 JOY Award

The JOY Award honors Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) volunteer advisors who have gone above and beyond to promote and advance PFCC principles throughout the U-M Health System. Winners will be honored at the annual Evan Newport HOPE/JOY Awards celebration in December 2017.
