Interpreter Services

Trained and certified medical interpreters assist patients or their family members who may have Limited English Proficiency (LEP) or are Deaf, Deaf/Blind, or Hard of Hearing. These interpreters help people communicate with our staff and care providers to ensure equitable access to quality health care.

Our medical interpreters help care providers deliver culturally competent care – which is essential to ensuring that every one of our patients receives superior quality health care. We currently employ 44 staff interpreters, 20 contract sign language interpreters, 4 administrative staff, and a pool of over 40 temporary interpreters who speak more than 70 languages between them.
