Interpreter Services at Michigan Medicine
Trained and certified medical interpreters assist patients or their family members who may have Limited English Proficiency (LEP) or who are Deaf, Deaf/Blind or Hard of Hearing. These interpreters help people communicate with our staff and care providers to ensure equitable access to quality health care.
Our medical interpreters help care providers deliver culturally competent care – which is essential to ensuring that every one of our patients receives superior quality health care.
