University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center event will address topics including cancer, nutrition and intimacy

If prostate cancer is from Mars, then breast cancer is from Venus.
Dubbed ‘I’ll Go If You Go’, the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center is hosting a community forum where men and women can support each other in learning about the impacts and of breast and prostate cancer and the latest medical updates.
The Nov. 12 event, which is also sponsored by The Prostate Net, welcomes couples and individuals.
Attendees will be able to discuss health topics such as such as prostate cancer, breast cancer, nutrition and intimacy with medical experts.
“Events like this are important because they help clarify facts and myths about important health topics,” says Aisha Langford, M.P.H., director of community outreach at the U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center. “They also provide opportunities for community members to ask questions of medical experts and to learn about resources in their community.”
The event is free to the public and includes brunch.
Guest speakers include:
• Tara Breslin, M.D. – Expert in breast cancer and care for patients with breast problems.
• Joel Heidelbaugh, M.D. – Expert in family medicine, men's health, and urology.
