West Shore Urology in Muskegon joins the University of Michigan Department of Urology

The Muskegon-based practice helps to grow the U-M urology network of care that also includes locations in Mid-Michigan, Flint and the Upper Peninsula

 
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Patients across the state of Michigan now have increased access to quality urologic care thanks to the Michigan Medicine Department of Urology’s addition of  West Shore Urology in Muskegon.
 
West Shore Urology has provided urologic care to western Michigan since 1972, and by joining with U-M urology, they are able to bring another level of care and expertise to local residents, by expanding the amount of urologic services and subspecialty care available in the area.
 
The University of Michigan Department of Urology was ranked as the best in Michigan and seventh nationally in 2017, according to the U.S. News and World Report rankings of the country’s best hospitals. They offer the latest in comprehensive evaluation and treatment options; have nationally renowned doctors, researchers and educators; and serve as the preferred referral center in the Midwest thanks to their compassionate, patient-centered urologic care.
 
The West Shore board-certified urologists joining the U-M urology team are: Brian Stork, M.D., Joe Salisz, M.D., Kevin Stone, M.D., Jessica Phelps, M.D. and Adam Walker, M.D., F.A.C.S.; and will offer a wide range of services, including:
